Appointed as Principal Contractor in September 2023, CVC immediately commenced works, starting with site access and formation of the new estate road.

The project involved several complex elements, including a 60m-long highway retaining wall, split-level retaining walls constructed with hollow-core, high-density precast concrete blocks, a high-voltage diversion, underground attenuation tanks, waterway diversions, and deep drainage connections.

By February 2024, the site team had handed back to the Main Contractor having delivered the first seven substructures, all drainage, and the main spine road with kerbs, base coat, reduced dig, and drainage complete. CVC continued to support the Principal Contractor to ensure programme delivery.

The scheme was a resounding success, receiving excellent feedback from the NHBC, who oversaw building control and warranty.
