OVERVIEW

CVC was appointed to carry out the enabling works, which included forming the new site entrance, setting out the driving range, undertaking reduced dig, and carrying out associated landscaping. Due to the site’s significant historical importance, the team worked closely with archaeologists prior to any deep excavation.

Once archaeological investigations were complete, CVC proceeded with substructures, oversite works, and the new incoming service installations, preparing the site for handover to the Principal Designer for the superstructure build. Later in the project, CVC returned to complete all drainage works, construct and install an attenuation pond, form the car park, and deliver the final surface finishes including grass grid, pavements, paths, and patio areas.

The project was completed to a high standard and showcased the quality workmanship of the site team.
